Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to delete the data that Fixit holds about you, including data we received from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when you connected an ad account.
This page is public and requires no login, so you can follow these steps whether or not you still have access to your Fixit account.
What data this covers
When you connect a Meta ad account to Fixit, we may hold:
- Your Facebook profile name, profile picture, and Facebook user ID
- Your email address
- Advertising performance data from the ad accounts you connected — campaigns, ad sets, ads, spend, impressions, clicks, and conversions
- A list of the business assets (ad accounts, Pages, pixels) you granted us access to
- Access tokens allowing Fixit to call the Meta API on your behalf
Option 1 — Delete from inside Fixit (fastest)
- 1Sign in at www.fix-it.ai
- 2Go to Settings → Connections
- 3Find the connected Meta account and click Disconnect
- 4To remove everything, go to Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm
Disconnecting immediately revokes our access tokens and stops all further data collection. Stored data is then erased within 90 days as part of our routine deletion cycle.
Want it gone sooner? Send us a deletion request (Option 3 below) and we complete the deletion within 30 days.
Option 2 — Remove Fixit from your Facebook settings
You can cut off Fixit’s access from Facebook’s side at any time, without signing in to Fixit:
- 1Log in to Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
- 2Open Apps and Websites in the left menu
- 3Find Fixit AI in the list
- 4Click Remove
- 5Tick the box to delete posts, videos, or events Fixit may have published, then confirm
This revokes our access immediately. To also have the data we already stored erased, follow Option 3.
Option 3 — Email us a deletion request
Send an email to privacy@fix-it.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”, including:
- The email address on your Fixit account
- The Meta ad account ID(s) you connected, if you know them
- Whether you want everything deleted, or only the Meta Platform Data
We will verify the request comes from you (we may ask you to reply from the registered email address), then complete the deletion — including copies held in backups — and confirm by email within 30 days.
If you no longer have access to the registered email address, write to us anyway from another address and explain — we will find another way to verify you.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you reconnect later, you start fresh.
Data in your Meta ad account itself
Fixit deleting its copy of your data does not delete campaigns, ads, or reporting inside your own Meta ad account. Those belong to you and remain in Meta Ads Manager. Any campaigns Fixit created on your instruction stay there unless you delete them yourself in Ads Manager.
